Welcome, Pastor Adrian!

graphic of Pastor Bolt and familyAdrian S.M. Bolt grew up in Excelsior, Minnesota, and attended Minnetonka Baptist Church in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Paula grew up in the Minnetonka area. Adrian had the blessing of growing up in a Christian home and was saved when he was in junior high school. Adrian and Paula met in 1990 and were married in June of 1994. They have four children – Meghan (13), Emma (11), Samuel (9), and Kate (6).

After graduation from college, Adrian moved to Duluth. Paula moved to Duluth after she graduated. They stayed in Duluth until 2002, when they moved to Eden Prairie, MN.

In 2005, after 13 years with State Farm Insurance, Adrian was called into the ministry. In July of that year he and Paula and the kids moved from Eden Prairie, Minnesota to Louisville, Kentucky so Adrian could attend seminary. While in Louisville, Adrian and Paula were active members of Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville. In May 2008 Adrian received the Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

After graduation from seminary, Adrian and Paula moved to Normal, Illinois so Adrian could work for State Farm while searching for a church to serve.

Adrian and Paula both have a passion for biblical family ministry. They believe strong churches are built on strong families, strong families are built on strong marriages, and strong marriages are built, by the grace of God, when biblical manhood and biblical womanhood are modeled in the home. They desire to help equip fathers and mothers to shepherd their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Adrian believes that all of Scripture is centered on the person and the work of Jesus Christ, and he loves to preach the glories of Jesus Christ from all of Scripture.

While at Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville, Adrian taught a young couples’ Sunday school class, he co-taught a parenting class, and he served AWANA.

Adrian and Paula love being married and love having children. As a family, they enjoy hunting, they enjoy lots of outdoors activities, and they enjoy spending time at Paula’s parents’ cabin in Remer, Minnesota.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:15-17

"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21 NRSV

"For it is the God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6 NRSV
