Sunday School
After a time of music and praising the Lord, the children attend age appropriate Sunday School. The Sunday School program ( David C. Cook Curriculum ) is for children aged two by September 1st through the 6th grade. Our emphasis is to bring children to salvation through the teaching of the lessons and to edify and train the Christian child. Begins at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings.
Children’s Church Program
Available for children age 5 through the 3rd grade. The children worship together with the congregation on Sundays and then are dismissed prior to the sermon. Children’s Church Leaders are equipped with curriculum that keeps the children’s attention while learning about God’s Word.
Children aged 4 by September 1st through 6th grade are invited to attend the Wednesday Night Clubs. Enjoy a time of worship through music, a lesson time taught through skits, gym time and bible memorization. The goal for this community outreach is so that the children will hear the message of salvation presented from the lessons during the story time and classroom time. Begins at 6:30
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held during August for one week. This is a community outreach to bring those that do not regularly attend a church to share the Word of Christ with them. There are different themes each year and is one of the highlights of the summer. Children ages 4 through the 5th grade are encouraged to attend.
Children’s Christmas Program
During December the Children’s Ministry team focuses on preparing the children to perform a play relating to the birth of Jesus Christ. After several practices, the children are ready to perform in front of the congregation during the Sunday Service. There are more smiles on the faces of the congregation then those on stage. It is such a delight to see their hard work come to life on the stage.
Summer Softball
Elementary aged youth are encouraged to play on the softball team and challenge other local churches to fellowship and team building while they run around the bases a few times. The entire church comes out to watch and support these athletes as they put forth the effort to strike the ball with the bat.
Nursery ...Back
The nursery ministry allows parents to have peace of mind, knowing their children are well cared for so they can worship. The nursery is equipped to care for infants to 3 yrs old. Nursery leaders, along with student helpers, engage your child in age appropriate activities that will be an encouragement to them while they are away from their parents. Nursery is available for all Sunday Services.
The Nursery is available for Wednesday helpers and those attending service.

Music and Worship Ministry ...Back
First Baptist Church of Milaca enjoys a mixture of Contemporary Christian music and Hymns. We desire that music in our church first of all honors the Lord; that it lifts up the name of the Lord and at the same time be joyful and refreshing. We provide opportunities to minister in choir, orchestra, solos, duets, quartets and other musical groups.
Youth Ministries ...Back
Sunday School
Attended by 7th through 12th graders, the youth begin their Sunday school at 9:00 and follow a scope and sequence curriculum that covers a four year plan. The series involve a thirteen week session plan that youth can deepen their relationship with God through individual devotions, journaling, and dig deeper through the use of commentaries, study book and other resources. Lessons on taught in a variety of ways such as lecture, speakers, video clips, art, music and more. The youth become involved with the learning and discover their purpose and understand God’s will in their life. Prayer time and bible memorization help develop their character.
Wednesday Night
Youth are able to develop a closer walk with Christ through open gym time, worship and praise, coaching time and small group discussion. This where the youth develop long lasting friendships as they develop who they are in Christ. The goal for Wednesday nights is to reach out to the community and get teens involved. To be the light that shines on all young people, to edify one another in God’s love, mercy and grace.
